Te Raurau Kaiwhakamahi – a conversation for employers with Te Pūkenga

July 9, 2021 | 1 min read

Te Pūkenga is hosting a series of hui throughout July to connect with employers, industry representatives and Transitional Industry Training Organisation (TITO) staff. This is an opportunity for us to understand the challenges that employers and learners face with the current vocational education and training system and how these might be addressed.

Warwick Quinn, Deputy Chief Executive Employer Journey and Experience, will provide an update on the mahi that Te Pūkenga has been undertaking and what the next steps will look like.

The eight updated service concepts will be presented. These concepts were developed by the co-design team, who have been helping Te Pūkenga form its future operating model. Your feedback on these is vital for us to better understand how our future operating model will support learners and employers.

These sessions will be held in seven locations across Aotearoa, beginning on Tuesday 13 July. The sessions will run for two hours to allow time to hear peoples’ thoughts and feedback. We recognise that not everyone will be available to attend their local visit, so two online sessions will be held.

Further details including dates, locations and how to register can be found here.
