Mobilising New World Reports Feedback Extension

May 21, 2020 | 2 min read

We're looking for your thoughts and have extended our deadline for feedback to 15 July 2020.

Interim Report Executive Summaries

1. Learner Journey Mapping

2. Employer and Community Engagement Model

3&4. Education Products and Services & Online Arrangements

5. Work Based Learning

6. New Academic Architecture

7. International Education

Seven working groups consisting of 76 people from across the vocational education sector were established by the IST Establishment Board to consider the future of the vocational education once NZIST came into existence.  The working groups were asked to think about the future of the provision of vocational education.  While the world may have shifted due to the 2019 Covid-19 pandemic since these reports were compiled, they are still relevant and important as we navigate our way towards a different way of providing vocational education.

We welcome your feedback on these reports and have extended our deadline to ensure that you have an opportunity to consider them fully.  The feedback we receive will now be presented in a report to the NZIST Council in August.

While all feedback is welcome, we would be specifically interested to receive comments on:

  1. What recommendations in the reports you would prioritise and why?
  2. What recommendations you don’t agree with and why?
  3. Recommendations you think are missing and why they should be included?
  4. Any issues that have not been considered in any of the reports and should be.

Please send your feedback to info@vocationaleducation.ac.nz by close of business on Wednesday 15 July 2020 with the subject line Feedback to MNW Reports.
